The attached file is a composition project for an exam, and I have tried opening up the file, but each time I try, I get an error message that reads, "Cannot read file." Kindly fix this for me urgently. Thank you

Unfortunately, that file seems very corrupted, there may be no way to recover data from it. See https://musescore.org/en/node/52116 for info on how to perhaps recover from a backup copy, or look into OneDrive or Time Machine to see if perhaps one of those services made a backup for you.

Meanwhile if you can share any information on how you think this might have happened - power failure in the middle of saving the file, perhaps? - that could be useful in trying to figure out how this happened.
