Different parts on 1 page
Hi,
I have arranged some short pieces for 6 violins.
I would like to arrange the 6 parts (about 2 or 3 staves each) over two A4 pages so the whole ensemble can swap parts and switch when they want to during a session. I don't necessarily want a score; just the parts spread out over two pages would do.
My only solution so far is to make it as one piece and spread the different staves so they look like different parts; however, then the measure count is wrong.
Could anyone help me out with this? I have attached a pictured with what I'm trying to achieve.
Many thanks in advance!
Jens

This is not supported by the automated linked parts feature indeed.
So the workaround of a single score made to look like different parts seems like your easiest option. If you end each "part" with a section break, measure counting will automatically restart for the next measure.

That's great; that will work indeed!
Thanks so much :)

I don't think that can be done in Musescore alone, but there are some ingenious users out there and there may be someone with a clever trick.
My solution would be to export the individual parts as png files and then paste them as pictures into a favourite document editing application (e.g. word).

I was right about the ingenious users - and they are quicker on the reply button than I am ;-)
