two questions

I clicked Save and got an error msg (attached)
An extension " .temp" was added to name; what caused this? -
I keep having this problem: the score won't recognize a new Tempo I put in (Select note, then Alt+SH+T).

Seems you try to write the score onto a Windows network share, maybe there you don't have proper permissions or ran out of space or quotas?
For the tempo question, in order to understand and assist, we'd need you to attach the score you are having problems with, and precise steps to reproduce the problem.

Thanks for replying -- As we might have known, I just tried the tempo changes again, and it seems to be working. I know I should have sent the score, I think I just forgot.
Anyway, I have another problem! I noticed in the manual that a similar function can be done with "Tempo Change" under Plugins, but all I have there is 'Plugin Manager' & 'Plugin Creator.' Would this have to be set up? A screenshot isn't nec. here, is it?

The tempo changes function isn't for changing the basic tempo of a piece, but for adding ritardando etc. You need to download and install the plugin first. See the Download menu above, and click Plugins. There you will see further instructions.

So, if I don't need the 'curve' I'm fine with what I'm using, I take it.
I don't see a download menu anyway.

The Download menu is top left in this website, not within MuseScore.
