When you create a new score, under the title is the subtitle, what is it used for?

So it's for dedications and tributes? how about the '(An Original Melody)' and the ' Motto._ When...'?

Found the dedication, but couldn't find the '(An original melody)' and the 'Motto...'.

They were entered as a subtitle, then edited with ↵ and edited with the text bar (bottom left in the main window). See: https://musescore.org/en/handbook/frames#title-frame

Thanks a lot Shoichi and Jojo, other than using it for dedication and mvt., are there other options? In the more contemporary stream, how is it used? Can I put anything I want that I feel suits to be a 'subtitle' other than mvt and dedication?

Right-click the text frame and you will see the default options

Sure, it is just text, you could put in anything you like
