Style Setting: Slurs on Grace Notes by Default
Hi,
It would be really cool for there to be a style setting that would allow MuseScore to automatically add slurs to grace notes / acciaturas. This is a really common engraving practice. The current method of doing so, which requires that the user click on the grace note to place the slur on it, is on the tedious side as it requires really precise mouse accuracy in order to click on the grace note.
Thanks,
Jer Roque

I don't think it is that much of an annoyance to click on the note. What is annoying is that when you have multiple, it only slurs from the first to the second. When I shift click the note to select it and its grace notes or apogiature, then press S, it slurs from the main note to the next note. I would like there to be a way to slur multiple grace notes—manually adjusting the slur is very fiddly.
The bug where it is hard to extend a slur over multiple grace notes is known, see #302104: slur and grace notes (acciaccatura) fails.
But in the usual case, you don't need to click anything, just press "S" immediately after entering grace note. The grace note is already selected.

Yeah, it'd be pretty great if I had the option to not have to press "S" immediately either.
Also, the icon to add a grace note has a slur on it. It makes sense for the command to add a grace note perform as advertised.

Except that it is harder to remove an unwanted slur, than it is to add one.
