I made some markings (including a few measure numbers) invisible on the main score. Is there any way to make that carry over into the parts?

Generally, things like visibility are not linked, because often that is something people want separate - to have something visible in the score and not the part or vice versa.
Most layout things aren't synched between score and parts as those, by their nature, have a different layout.
Some of those properties (such as visibility) do get copied over when a part is created. So either wait to create your parts, or go into the part and make the same visibility changes.

I have tried waiting to create the parts. Even when they are created after, they still don't reflect it.

Measure numbers in that aspect are "strange" things, as they are auto-generated on the score and part separately (like in the "start of system" setting, as the system likely doesn't start at the same measure).
So those aren't synched indeed

But depending on your reason for trying to hide measure numbers, probably there is a better way to accomplish the goal. If you attach your score and explain what you are trying to do in more detail, we can advise better.
