MDL sampler

I'm sure this as been asked in the past but I'm in the middle of writing a marching band show and I have some sample sound effects in FL studio I'd like to use. How would I go about doing that? Do I create a new soundfont or just import the Wav files? Really stuck on this and I'd appreciate the help!
