How to duplicate notes at its "octave"
Hi, Gang!!!
I use MuseScore 3.4.2, into Ubuntu Studio 20.04 LTS (64 bits Linux).
I wonder if there is an easy way (just one click) to duplicate some melodic line at its octave.
It is intended to write the typical piano bass clef ("octaveted" melodic line).
Today, up to my limited knowledge, we have to write twice: first time the upper melodic line and, then, the lower melodic line.
Blessings and Greetings from Chile!!!

If you are wanting it on a new stave, i.e doubling the piano right hand in the left hand: select your melody, copy and paste into the bass stave. While still selected, use Ctrl+down arrow to transpose everything down an octave.
If you want octave doubling in the same hand (as chords), select your melody, then from the 'Add' menu select Intervals/Octave below.
Not quite one click, but close!
select all, copy/paste, and while still selected ctrl+up
Would that work?

I tried and it didn't work
Maybe I'm misunderstanding, but Alt+8 adds notes an octave above every note in a selection.
