how do i change the speed of the shaker instrument?

so when you use the shaker instrument in musescore, each individual note makes two sounds (the shaker being shaken forward and back) but no matter what tempo the song is set at, the speed of the shake is always the same, and so sometimes it sounds inappropriate at certain tempos, but also just fine at other tempos. is there a way to maybe change the speed of the sound to remedy this?

You could try to put a tremolo on longer notes for longer shakes (like in a drum roll) to see if that improves things. It'll never sound natural though.
