How do i space out staffs in version 3?
I remember being able to shift+drag to move around the staffs in version 2 but that doesn't work for me in version 3. It's kinda annoying that if you are using a staff for guitar and have an instrument below, you cant put in the Low E, you have to input a note like F and then lower that. If i can just move the staff that problem goes away, at least it did in version 2.

Right click into staff > Staff properties > Extra space above staff
Same setting that was used with that drag method in MuseScore 2
As mentioned, extra distance above staff will do this. Perhaps better is just to enter the note via the keyboard, or entering an octave above then move it down with Ctrl+Down.
Note there is a pending change that may go into 3.5.1, and if so, you won't need any of these workarounds - note entry by mouse will favor the current staff rather than let the next staff below "steal" its notes.
