Choosing sounds in the mixer
Choosing a sound in the mixer is a pain, especially if you've downloaded external soundfonts. If there could be, instead of a list, perhaps a separate window that pops up that with better navigation and organization, it would enhance the process.

Radical redesign of the playback is being looked at for MsueScore 4.
Meanwhile, if you're not aware, the existing dropdown list works with typeahead in the standard way - type the first few letters of the name of the sound you want to jump directly there, etc.
