Articulation anchor
Hello,
I am going through and reviewing polish translation of MuseScore.
I found that there's a "Chord Automatic" option of Anchor property in Anchor Properties. According to an explanation @lasonic made 6 years ago:
"it means that if the user adds an articulation to a chord (a single note being a chord of 1 note), MuseScore will choose to put the articulation below or above the chord depending of the stem direction."
But it doesn't work that way. It looks like it depends on direction of the voice:
Does it mean it's a bug (broken regression)?
Anyway, the "Chord Automatic" label isn't clear enough, especially that - by definition - a chord consists of multiple pitches (notes).

Direction of the chord, indeed. Not broken as far as I can tell
In MuseScore even a single note is a chord, pitch/notehead + duration/stem

Maybe it's my misunderstanding, but in bar 4 shouldn't the articulation go down, as the chord's stem is directed downwards?

It is below, just like it should

Rules for articulations differ from one to the next. Some literally follow the stem direction, others are supposed to be always above or always below depending on voice.
