Filtered view (like Focus on Staves in Sibelius)
A feature I used to use quite a bit in Sibelius is focus on staves feature enabling a filtered view where only a few parts are visible. This would be especially handy when working on large orchestral scores. I see that this feature has been requested in the past: https://musescore.org/en/node/7607
Maybe it would be feasible to add this in a future version of Musescore.

You can quite easily toggle staves' visbility using the timeline. See https://musescore.org/en/handbook/timeline#Hiding_instruments
Hover over the right hand end of the instrument label and you should see an "eye" icon. Click on that to hide or show a particular stave.

Nice tip! I don't think I've ever used the timeline for anything, but I do score for multiple parts, and I may use this one.
