How to insert solo parts?
Hello, I just want to separate a single staff for a solo and after some measures, I will insert a SATB part. I just want the solo to be separated from the SATB, thank you!

Enter all of the parts with the staves and don't worry about page layout or empty staves until all of the notes are entered. When you are done, use the menu Format->Style and check the box for "Hide empty staves" then uncheck the box below it that starts "Don't hide..." so all empty staves will be hidden. You can then format your systems and pages as you like.
