Adding a default page
When I start MuseScore3, it gives the default page like the first attached screenshot. But when I add a new page it always gives the second screenshot. How do I create a new page that looks like the default page on startup?

Not sure, what you're looking for. If you want to append measures, see: https://musescore.org/en/handbook/measure-operations#append. If you want to insert a page- or other break, see: https://musescore.org/en/handbook/breaks-and-spacers. If you want to insert a frame, see: https://musescore.org/en/handbook/frames.

The first example has system breaks every 4 bars. The second example has no system breaks. So add or delete system breaks to make them match.
Actually, it is usually better to leave adding system breaks until all the notes are entered. Musescore will automatically make system breaks where necessary. Then if you want to adjust things you can add your own.
