Even numbers of staves on a page
Hello. I've created a viola part from the piano/viola original, but the gaps between the staves on the viola part are all evenly spaced on the first page but wider apart on the second page. How do I set it so there is an even space between each stave (line)? Thank you!

Without the score it is difficult to be sure, but you probably want to move some systems from the first page to the second page so that you have similar numbers of systems on both pages. You do that by adding a page break to the last measure you want on the first page. See https://musescore.org/en/handbook/breaks-and-spacers#breaks

THanks Steve, in the meantime I have worked out the solution. Go to Format and STYLE, then increase the number in the "minimum stave distance". That's evened it all out on the viola part. Ta, Rachel
