Tablature Octave Does Not Match Linked Staff

Create a score with a 6-string guitar standard notation and a linked standard guitar tablature.

Place a Treble Clef 8va alto symbol in a measure in the standard notation.

Place a note in the standard notation and observe that it show up 12 frets (one octave) above the actual note sound.

In the attached score, measures 8, 9, and 10 show the problem. The tablature seems to apply a Treble Clef 16va alto transcription, which does not return to standard treble after the measure with the Treble Clef 8va alto symbol applied.
