The "Would you like to try our improved score style" window is overly large compared to the previous reset dialog. The illustration adds size to the dialog but no extra functionality.

IME, it is valuable to be able to see the opening score for an immediate A–B comparison. Admittedly this can be done subsequently using the UNDO and REDO buttons, but, still, it's a loss in utility.

Actually it is a bug, when buttons are nor visible.
Workaround is Return and Esc, to accept or dismiss.

I tested the same thing on Linux (the same laptop) to see how it is handled on Linux. To make the display settings as similar to Windows as possible, I set the 150% system DPI (Wayland, fractional scaling). Also, in the preference, I set the UI font size to 10pt, the same as Windows, although the font names are different.

As you see in the screenshot below, on Linux, the dialogue window looks fine. So, maybe this is only a problem on Windows.

The problem doesn't have do with Windows vs Linux vs macOS, but rather, with the specifics fo your particular display and the resolution settings you have made for it in your device drivers and/or operating system. On "most" systems, it's fine, whether Windows, Linux, or macOS. But on some systems that use different resolution and scaling settings, it can be off.

On Windows, it may help to set the high DPI compatibility mode for the exe file to "system". There are other possibilities as well. best to followup on the forum where there are hundreds of times more people able to follow the discussion and perhaps help and also be helped.
