Changing instrument after Audiveris import
I have had good luck with converting pdfs to MuseScore3 with Audiveris. It is very handy and valuable. There is one annoying "feature" that I am having trouble with: If I have a pdf of a Bb Trumpet part and import it, I get a very nice MuseScore 3 file, but it has "Voice" as the instrument. It looks lust like the original pdf, with the same key signature and everything. But when I try to tell Muse score that this should have a Bb Trumpet sound for playback, I run into trouble. Here is what I tried:
- add a Bb Trumpet instrument.
- copy the "Voice" part
- paste into the Bb Trumpet part
The new part comes back transposed to a new key signature.
Is there a way to correct for this?

Audiveris does not know that it is reading a Bb trumpet part - it reads as concert pitch - so when you import it into MuseScore you have effectively transposed it up two semitones. Copy from vocal to trumpet and then transpose down two semitones (“By Interval“, “Major Second“)

And don't check the box to transpose key signatures.

Thanks, I was thinking that this might be the case. I will try. But the most hearty thanks to the Audiveris effort and the integration with MuseScore!
