Musescore 3.5 Keeps Crashing

Hi, so I've noticed that many people have had or are having the same problem with the new 3.5 update: Musescore opens up to the score tabs, but then crashes after a few seconds. I've tried to reset my factory settings, to no avail. Any help to this problem will be appreciated!

P.S I'm not sure if this is important to solving the problem, but every time the box that says "Musescore quit unexpectedly would you like to restore your session blah blah" comes up and I click either the yes or no button, some things happen which I have observed:
- When the "no" button is clicked, the score tab labelled "Untitled", along with an empty score, appears before Musescore crashes.
- When the "yes" button is clicked, the tab doesn't even appear - the only thing shown is a blank grey space before Musescore crashes.
In both instances, the list of previous scores and the "create new score" button does not appear at all.
