Project
- Under Format > Style > Score, set Musical symbols font to Petaluma & Musical text font to Petaluma Text.
- Add a dynamics symbol, e.g. mp.
Expected result: x-height (lowercase m) is approx. 1 staff space tall, like with all other built-in fonts (cf. parts in attached score).
Actual result: Much smaller (~60%), with lowercase f and p instead taking up ~1 staff space:
WA: Increase dynamics font size to ~18.00pt & save as new style default.
OS: Manjaro Linux, Arch.: x86_64, MuseScore version (64-bit): 3.6.0.423675897, revision: 2cbee43

As we do take Petaluma 'as-is' directly from Steinberg, I guess you'd need to complain there, at https://github.com/steinbergmedia/petaluma
Could this be an issue of Petaluma Script vs. Petaluma Text?
Came up again in https://musescore.com/groups/improving-musescore-com/discuss/5088324#co…
I made an issue on the Petaluma GitHub page, so hopefully it will get fixed.
In https://github.com/steinbergmedia/petaluma/issues/8 that is
Daniel Spreadbury is on it
