The Microsoft Store MuseScore page does not state anywhere the version that is downloadable.

The MuseScore download page also does not state anywhere which version one is about to download.

Suggestions:

1 If the versions are out of sync, put the version in brackets next to the link, e.g.
Microsoft Store (MuseScore 3.3.4)

This will also reduce the frustration for users looking for the latest version (which is not available as per #313298: MuseScore in Microsoft Store is outdated, still at 3.3.4; remove link on Download page), and have the necessary information at hand to make an informed decision as to which variant (native, portable, Microsoft Store) is best for them.

2 Also, since the Portable App's release is in lockstep with the regular version or often more current than the Microsoft Store version, I suggest that those two be swapped, e.g. the list of links

  • 32-bit package
  • Portable version
  • Microsoft Store (MuseScore 3.3.4)
  • Older versions
