Appearance of notes on printed page
I want the output score to show the instruments (flutes) to appear one per staff, not all bunched up in one staff. I've tried all the whistles and bells, but nothing seems to address this basic ability. Can anyone give me the steps?

You have to "SPLIT" the different flutes to 4 staves.
Go to the "EDIT" menu, "INSTRUMENT" option and add 3 new flutes staff. Be care to put it in due order (Flute 1, Flute 2, Flute 3 and Flute 4).
Then, select the original Flute 1 staff (with the 4 flute notes) plus the new 3 staves. Then, use the "TOOLS" menu, option "EXPAND".
You will get what you want... almost (the real way to do this, is write each flute melodic line one by one, sorry).
