Just put an arpeggio or grace note on any chord and you will notice that the grace note pushes the beginning of the host note or chord and gives the opposite effect. The grace note should precede the host chord or note, not start where the chord would start without it. This makes the score sound very bad, especially if the score is of a classical piece of music.

This is not a bug - grace notes on the beat was the standard practice throughout most of musical history. This began to change only within the past century or so.
