Final barline in middle of line
I have a score (an arrangement of "St. Patrick's Breastplate" to the familiar tune "Bunessan"; most people know the tune as "Morning Has Broken") where the final barline is in the middle of a line, intended to be played as the end on the second time through. Is it possible get the playback to stop there on the second pass? If so, I haven't found the proper dead fish to wave at it, not even from looking through the handbook.

You never added an actual fine, just a staff text. Delete that, add an actual fine from the repeats palette, and all is well.

Ah. You learn something new every day. Thought I grabbed it from the repeats palette, whence I got the D.S. al fine. Thank you.

You're welcome! FWIW, I figured it out by looking at the status bar, which reported "staff text" as opposed to "marker", which is what a Fine should report. So, maybe that's another trick to learn :-)
