Smooth scrolling in palettes
Hello,
This has been bothering me for a little while and it doesn't seem like anyone else has commented/asked about it.
How can I disable "smooth" scrolling in the palettes? It takes very very long to get from the top of my palettes to the bottom if I use the scroll wheel (my preferred method), and is very jerky if I use the mouse with the scroll bar-- the scroll bar seems to change size depending on where you are in the palettes and what is open. I'd like to disable this and go back to the pre-3.0 "normal" scrolling. As far as I remember this is a new feature in 3.0-- before then I never had any issues.
Thanks,
celadonk

What OS are you on, and what specific pointing device? It seems there are certain systems that have problems here, and I think there might be workarounds for at least some of them.

Windows 10, and I'm using a Microsoft Wireless Mobile Mouse 3500, it seems.
The strangest bit is that the scroll bar seems to resize depending on how far I've scrolled down, ranging from about 30 pixels to about 130.
I have the exact same problem. It's really hindering to my efficiency as it acts like the palette is on a touch device where as the rest of the score widow is normal. Both of them should act like how you would scroll on a webpage, no smoothing no touch pad scrolling "inertia". Just simple, clicky scrolling like it used to. When I stop my scroll wheel it should stop the scrolling and not continue to move like it has inertia. How am I supposed to pick the item efficiently when the whole palette is still moving a full second after I stopped scrolling?
I am on Windows 10, with a Logitech G502.

Same here on the Mac with Musescore 3.6.2.
Though I struggle with jerky palette scrolling every day somehow I never got around to posting about it.
So thanks!!
