Anyway, I don't understand your question.
Which format is showing the problem, .gp as mentioned in the forum topic or .gpx as claimed here
In the latter case it won't be a regression BTW...
Also the workaround is to export as xml

.gp files (GP7) of course.
Better workaround : export in .gpx (GP6) format (instead xml: many things different)
