MDL Drumline Soundfonts drop out every third note

After anywhere between 30 seconds and 5 minutes, on random occasion, one or multiple of the MDL Drumline tracks will start dropping out ever third note (in my case, only happens with MDL snare and MDL bass) and is extremely noticeable, especially on fast parts or on rolls. Restarting the program is a temporary fix but the problem comes back quickly. Re-downloading MDL Drumline does the same. Restarting the computer does the same. Running on Mac, updated, issue persisted. I cannot find a way to fix the issue. No other sounds are affected, just these. Problem never happens on Musescore 2.
