Notes not writing correctly
So im currently in 3/4 rn (composing in piano) and for example, I have a dotted half note and I want to add quarter notes to the measure with the dotted half note, how do I get this without the measures getting screwed up and the notes getting spread to the next measure?

A dotted half note takes up the entire measure in 3/4.
But if you mean those quarter notes should play at the same time, then see the answer above.
