It looks like the line break is hardcoded into the section break. With this option (in the inspector), there could be section breaks inside systems without them automatically creating a new line.
1) Add a section break in the middle of a system
What happens: All following measures go to a new line
What should happen: If this new "no line break" checkbox is ticked, the new section should start in the middle of the system, without a line break.

So - please - make another tickbox for:
--> "Set a final barline" before break.
Why? It is easy enough to do manually. And even the real final barline isn't forced to look like a final barline.

A section break defines in each case the end of a separate part of the piece - per definition.
In printed musicI have never seen any section end - wihout final barline .
So - why should I set this common rule by manually intervention - even if it is an easy, but unneeded step?

I can't give an example right now (and I definitely don't object) but I remember seeing sections (not the end of the whole work) ending with a double-barline in some works.
Question is whether this is more the exception than the rule. Or which default such a (new) option should get
Section breaks have many uses other than separating movements of traditionally-notated classical works. A symphony might have 3 such section breaks that need the double bar, and a composer might produce nine symphonies in a lifetime. An educational worksheet might contain 30 section breaks that don't need the double bar, and the educator might produce a dozen worksheets in a week. I'd err on the side of not making things worse.
