1.) Start with the given file (that crashes when hitting spacebar to play (anywhere.)
2.) Delete all measures of page 4 and the final frame that is left. (File now playable)
3.) Insert 32 bars before (final) measure 67. (Go to end, cut notes and replace into bar 67.)
4.) Insert frame before bar 68. (File still playable.)
5.) Select frame and apply a section break. (File now not playable) Crash MuseScore.

I don't see a crash playing this file in 3.6.2, is there more to the steps than that? Also, I'm not understand step 3. Measure 67 has a tie into it. Inserting 32 bars before that works, but produces a stranger result - is that your intent? Then what exactly are you cutting and pasting? And what kind of frame are you inserting?

Anyhow, I tried a bunch of variations on this and didn't see any crashes.
