more separation between parts and main
I have an SATB which I've done up on 2 staves, SA on one, TB on the other. I want to export mp3's for people to learn parts from at home before rehearsal.
However, the hymn has multiple stanzas which I've done as a repeat with multiple lines of lyrics - note that the repeat system ignores the number of lines of lyrics and I'm not sure how to make it repeat 4 times (once per stanza) without a messy and unnecessary 1-4 time/fifth time bar. Maybe an option in the inspector window for the repeat???
I'd like to have the first stanza unison so I want the soprano part (adjusted 8ve lower for men) to export in that timing window for all parts. When I did the part separation, it's just put the original part in. Attempting to add the extra verse of melody for everyone throws out the main part by adding lots of additional parts and notes which are unnecessary. I know I could do this by an export to MP3 and then manipulating the file through something like Audacity but I half figure this is probably a feature that others could use built-in...
I'd also like to have the final stanza unison but with a modified organ bass line - though I don't want the singers to hear that in the MP3 export, only their melody line. When I added the melody to the men's parts, it's added extra lyrics to the bass clef and overwritten the organ bass line that was there.
What I'd like to have is a more separated set between part and main so I can edit the part but not have it round-trip back to the main which was already fully set for export, etc.

For a repeat of more then twice bump up the play cound of the measure with the end repeat barline (via that measure's properties

Ah, the one place I didn't look. Thank you, that worked well.
Just as a stop-gap, I'm going to have 2 files: one for audio export and another for PDF export.
