Midi files small gaps between notes
Hi, I'm trying to export a score into a Midi file but when I open it in another program as midi, it's not "perfect", there are small gaps (tiny rests) between the notes as if someone had played the song "by hand" on a keyboard.
Is there a way to export as Midi without those imperfections?

I wouldnt call those imperfections - as you say, they are intended to more accurately imitate how real musicians would play. If you prefer less realistic playback, you can use your MIDI editors to lengthen all notes by the corresponding amount (they default to 95% of nominal length for piano and flute, 100% for other instruments). if you prefer to do this adjustment from MuseScore, you can use an instrument other than piano or flute, and change the playback sound in the Mixer as desired.
Hey, this is giving me some trouble too! I am developing a software which has to convert MIDI to sheet music, and I create these MIDI files using musescore (sounds silly)... and these small gaps are making the midi files all wrong. I could quantize them, but this wouldn't be precise. Manually fixing several midi files would be a huge work. Isn't there a configuration to prevent these small gaps in Musescore? Is this instrument-related only? Something I could change in MuseScore's source code?

I tried changing the instrument, didn't solved the issue... so I changed it through a script. I noticed these gaps are of size 1/1920, is this size a constant among the bar-size? Changing the BPM doesn't affect this gap's size, I'll try different settings.
If everything works fine, I could share a github page with a small program to fix these notes in a midi file.
