Crescendo and Decrescendo stopped working bug

I've noticed frequently that random instruments in the scores that I write stop using the crescendo and decrescendo. I mean, every instrument in the score will work perfectly fine, then suddenly, a couple instruments will stop crescendo-ing and decresendo-ing. The dynamcics and all of that are still written in the score, but the effect disappears.

Example: My trumpet parts have a sequence that goes from pp < mf > p. The crescendo and decrescendo effects worked when I first wrote it into my score, but then it stopped working recently. I tried rewriting it, removing and adding the trumpet part again, and restarting my computer, but now it's not working. I think it's a bug

Anyone know how to fix this?
