Distance between systems when hiding staves

Hello everybody, I have quite a problem trying to make closer two systems when I have made invisible the empty bars of a few staves. Because Musescore considers these staves "invisible" and not "deleted" or "hidden" (as Sibelius does), the two systems are far apart from each other. Any ideas of how could I proceed to improve the layout?

I have attached an example (as you can see, from bar 5 I have done a "copy and paste" to include some music, of course Pastoral's music is different) to show the situation. Hide all the empty bars would not be a solution as the whole orchestra must be represented on the first bar.
