I'm so confused...
I can't tell if the cellos and basses are playing D natural or D sharp. And plus, how can this be possible?!!!

It looks like D natural to me. Also there would be no need for an accidental to make it a D sharp as that is already in the key signature.

Probably doing a harmonic.

What make you think that? It looks like it's a perfectly ordinary tremolo on a D natural. Nothing to indicate a harmonic that I can see.

I see what appears to be a diamond notehead on F# above the D.
Could be worth asking about this on a general music forum somewhere, probably more collective expertise on string technique as well as Stravinsky to be found elsewhere.

Just come across this thread. This is a harmonic - the whole note D indicates the string, and the diamond indicates where you place your finger lightly to give the natural harmonic, in this case F# two octaves above. (If you use normal finger pressure it will sound F# below middle C.) No double stops involved. Here is a table of the natural harmonics on each string:

There is more on natural and artificial ;) harmonics here: https://andrewhugill.com/manuals/cello/mute.html
