Snare drum : 1 still not working + 1 diffrence + 1 crash
Using a snare drum with one line I edit the drumset to get right hand above and left hand under the line, like I do in v1.3.
Still not working according to me : I choose stem direction down for left hand but it's always up.
The difference : now I get small part of line around my notes (see attachment), and also single/reference line seems to be the upper line and not the middle line (but I don't care, because opening my v1.3 files automatically change the stave line).
The crash append every time I choose "auto" for stem direction.
Now I will try the bagpipe palette ;-)

Can you attach the score you are having problems with (not just a picture of it) and precise steps to reproduce the problems you are seeing?
Edit: never mind, I can see what you mean about the crash. Happens while editing the drum set, as soon as you set stem direction to "Auto". Can you file this in the Issue Tracker with step by step instructions to reproduce the crash?
BTW, yes, the line did change - single line staves are now staff line 0. But I don't know what you mean about a "line around my notes".

I don't understand what are you expected from me to do about the crash if you reproduce it ?
About the note rendering, please see attachment.
And about the stem direction, am i using this option correctly ?

that the OP is referring to the grace note. http://www.thefreedictionary.com/grace+note

About the crash, what I'd like ideally is for you to submit this to the official issue tracker. The fourm is nice for discussion and figuring out if soemthing is really a bug, but once it is determined that something is definitiely a bug (and not already reported), it should be submitted to the Issue Tracker database. See the Issue Tracker link in the menu at right. This helps make sure we don't forget about it.
As for the line around the note, are you talking about the ledger line? If so, that's there because you presumably gave too big or too small a value for the "Line" parameter (hard to tell from only a picture - posting the score itself is almost always better). Since the line that shows is line 0, you should use -1 and 1 for the space immediately above and below.
If you are talking about the grace note, there are two types of grace notes: ones with the slash through the stem and ones without. You add the kind with the slash. If you want the kind without the slash, just select that one from palette instead of the one you actually selected.

I went ahead and filed the crash report for you: #32471: Crash on edit drumset - setting stem direction to Auto.

Thanks, but I was just making a simple example to log (but you did it well).
About the 2 other problems, you can look at the score in attachment and see :
1/ That when you copy/paste the first note (left hand) the stem direction change from down to up whereas in the drumset it is down by default.
2/ That when you enter the note input mode (look at the note at the bottom of the window) or the drumset you can see my note called "right hand" with no ledger line whereas in the the score it has one (this is a difference with v1.3).
3/ I just notice a new "problem :
- rename my note in the drumset doesn't mark the score as "changed" (no change is indicated by a * after the score name), so I can quit the software with no message and loose my renaming.
If you confirm that, I would log it to the bug tracker, but it seems with less efficiency and détails than you do.

1) If I select the first note (eg, shift+click it), hit Ctrl+C, then click the rest on beat 3 and press Ctrl+V, I get another note just like the first - stem down. If I just single click the first note without actually selecting it before pressing Ctrl+C, *then* I find it copies the pitch only but not the other attributes. I'm pretty sure that's normal - it's the same way copy & paste works on others staves as well. Not sure if that's intentional or not.
2) I see the ledger lines, yes, but that's because you chose -2 and 2 rather than -1 and 1 as the lines. I guess ledger lines don't display on the palette. Not sure if that's a bug or intentional.
3) Confirmed, and this is definitely a bug. Same is true of some other other dialogs, btw. I have filed this as #32481: Change to Staff Text Properties doesn't mark score dirty

1/ I learned something on this one ;-)
2/ Ledger lines doesn't means anything in that case because there is just a line whith above and Under. Furthermore there was no ledger lines in v1.3.
But as you suggest I will choose -1 and +1.
3/ Not a big one, but if it can help...
Thanks Marc
