MuseScore causes Zoom.us audio to mute while screen sharing. Sometimes audio will work fine for a while but eventually become bitcrushed until completely muted. Stopping screen share returns audio to normal.

open the MuseScore file AFTER opening Zoom
or toogle the MIDI button (off and back on)
(And yes, I had to do that myself during Zoom rehersals)

This did not work for me. The mic immediately stopped in Zoom. For reference, this is also an issue with ScreenCastify, except SC automatically turns off once Musescore is turned on, even if I am doing a Browser only session.

this did not work for me in ZOOM or in ScreenCastify.
This is typically controlled by the OS and/or device drivers, via settings to control whether or not to allow applications exclusive use of the audio device.
