Cursor stuck on notes how to get it onto select?!
Hi, I have worked successfully on Finale Print for ten years and indeed sell music online. Because Finale Print is being funny about authorisation in computer change I am trying Musescore. It looks hopeful. The only problem at present is I cannot get my cursos into select mode. It insists on printing a note each time I try to click onto a phrase to select and copy!
This is probably an extremely simple task ... but, help, it completely eludes me!
I hope someone can help with a simple observation.

To exit note input mode do one of the following:
Toggle off the note input button on the toolbar
Use keyboard shortcut N (this toggles note input off and on).
Press the ESC key.

Thank you Steve. Solved now and saved a lot of temper ... a whole morning was taken copying 20 bars in 2/4 time. Unheard of!
