Voltas
As can be seen from the two screen shots, I have a three verse song. When played on MuseScore, it plays fine through the first verse and repeats the second verse but it skips the first measure of the volta on the second play. It repeats for the third verse but only plays the second measure of the first volta and stops. It does not go to the second volta. I became so frustrated and confused, I began using every combination of numbers etc. to try to make it play right. I am desperate to complete this song so I can record vocals & create a CD to play at a church festival in a week!

Right click measure 28 set repeats number.

From the handbook:
"Some lines, such as Hairpins, Voltas, Ottavas etc., also have an effect on the playback of the score itself. Each end handle is connected by a dotted line to an anchor on the staff (visible in Edit mode). These anchors indicate the extent of the playback effect."

Move the anchor point so playback always remains in sync with the visual start/end points of the volta:
