My issue is that my printer will not support the new updated font (notation only) in Musescore 3.
Please can you tell me how I can go back to the previous notation settings
im using Mac 11 with a laser jet pro

Known issue. see #316152: Some characters do not print from Leland on certain printer drivers on Mac
It does list some workarounds and links to a development buid that has it fixed
I am having a similar issue. It started with the last Musescore update. My printer won't print flats, sharps or dots. I am also using a Mac with the latest software update and an HP Office Jet printer. Love Musescore! Thanks for any help in solving this problem.

You're having the issue I linked to above. So the same workarounds apply, and the same fix would fix it
