Wrong measure number?
After importing a PDF in Musescore 3.6.2, which went rather good, I had to insert multiple rest measures (because those weren't imported). But after that, the measure number goes wrong. After measure 15, I inserted a 14 measure and a 3 measure rest (as in the original score). You would think: 15 +14 + 3 = 32, so the next measure should be 33. However, Musescore says it's 32. Maybe I'm wrong, but how can I renumber all the measures in the score? I attach the file

Is measure 15 really measure 15 or a part of measure 14?

I'm not sure. The piece starts with an anacrusis (1/4), that's not counted as the first measure. Measure 14 is completing that measure (2/4), followed by a second anacrusis (again 1/4) which is completed in measure 57 (2/4). That's all in the original PDF. In the PDF the partial measures are counted separately, so measure 14 and 15. I'm not sure what is the right way to do it, but I would like to get the same numbering as in the PDF, if possible.

OK...
Right click the second anacrusis and, in 'Measure Properties', untick 'Exclude from measure count'.
This will give you the 15 + 14 + 3 = 32, and so the next measure following the multimeasure rests is 33.

Thank you, I'll try it (almost) first thing in the morning. It's almost 02:00 here, maybe time to have some sleep 😉
Measure 15 consists of a single whole note (pickup/anacrusis) and its properties have "Exclude from bar count" ticked. It, therefore, gets numbered as 15 but so does the next measure. Ticking the box is correct but it should be ignored as a bar and its bar number should not be displayed.

I'm not sure what you mean by 'single whole note', it's a 1/4 rest. But I'll check tomorrow if my problem is solved by unticking the 'exclude from bar count'. Thanks!
