Scoring music and top lines for a duet with harmonies
Recently we began scoring the music from our new musical Rainbow Ring. The first song we chose is a duet called Confused, which we imported audio files to AnthemScore before exporting it to MuseScore.
I have attached what I sent my two singers (Melody & Riley) their top lines with lyrics and a separate file of the music only. Our leading man asked the following questions:
It seems that the vocal line is transcending two separate clefs instead of occupying a single line. Would it be possible to have the two lead singer top lines... and Piano in three independent lines per stanza?
Also, how to we begin or place the top line at 4th or 6th bar of music?

It's not really clear what you are asking here. Are you saying you have either a MusicXML or MIDI file that you are importing into MuseScore, and want the staves to be organized differently than they are? if so, best to attach the actual MusicXML or MIDI file in question, and describe more precisely what you'd like different.

No we already imported these three files to MuseScore.
Call Riley top line A. Refer to Melody’s top line as B. And refer to the music as C.
I want to place A & B separate and above C.
And I want to allow for the music Intro (C) and how do I place A & B where they begin.

Use Implode twice to consolidate both into their own respective single staff; then use Copy and Paste

But before copying and pasting from the imploded results go to [Edit]>[Instruments] to add vocal staves to the accompaniment to receive the pastes .
