No Idea How to Add Multiple Triplets
I am trying to notate a portion of Lift Every Voice and Sing for a project. In the eighth measure, there are two half-note triplets, which makes no sense to me given the 12/8 time signature.
However I may feel about it, I need to recreate the notation seen in the image, but I can't figure out how to do so. I attempted using different voices, but I didn't get a similar result.
If anyone knows how I can achieve this notation, if at all, within Musescore I would appreciate the help.

They are not half-note triplets, they are eighth-note triplets.
Add three eighth-notes (representing one beat in 12/8) then make the second and third of these a triplet by pressing ctrl-3

I think you may be looking at measure 9, not measure 8.
Yes, it doesn't really make sense. But, if you insist... You can enter whole note chords and make the noteheads into half-notes via Inspector, then create a triplet in a second voice just to get the 3 and the bracket and then make the 2nd-voice triplet invisible.

I had totally spaced and forgotten about the inspector, that would solve all the issues that I'm having with this early part. Thanks for the advice.
Try this : in the whole rest, enter pointed half rest . With it enter CTRL+3. You get a triplet with quater notes. Change the head in the inspector

That's probably one of the simplest solutions, thank you
