Beginner: labelling notes on scores
Hi,
I'm a beginner and still deciphering notes by manually writing it's name in with a pencil. Would be nice if you had a tool that can show the name of each note. Personally would find it more helpful than playing alongside the digital piano tutorials which you have to keep pausing.
Thank you,
Ané

This is possible since quite a while, see https://musescore.org/en/handbook/3/notehead-schemes
And there's also and since ages the notenames plugin, see https://musescore.org/en/handbook/3/plugins#note-names

Thank you so much, from your links I'm finding it difficult to install necessary plug-in. Could you send me a download link of the right plug-in with some basic instructions on installation. At the moment when I right click on a staff, there is no option to change notation.

No need to install anything, the note-head schema doesn't use a plugin at all but is built in and the plugin is included in MuseScore installation.
Unless you're on a (very) outdated version of MuseScore that is
