staff properties

I read the staff properties help section for the latest version, 3.6.2.54xxx and I have a few questions.

When adjusting the scale of a staff which is found in the staff properties how is this option different from staff space (scaling) found in page settings?

Does adjusting the scale of the staff in staff properties also change the scale of the font in existing verses or font?

I presume you could create a template and have the scale of the staff preset, right?

the former changes just the staff and is usefull only in very special cases. Go for the latter, it affects almost everything in the score
