Backup files.
Hello everyone!
I recently realized that I still haven't learned a way to get MuseScore to back up all the files I edit. It backs up some but not all files.
In the attached image is an example that I have 5 files but the backup was made only in 3.
I'd like to know what I'm missing...
Any tips and guidance are welcome.
Hug!

Have you ever opened these files again and edited them?
The backup is not made immediately when you create a file. It is made only after saving it and closing it and then reopening it and saving again. In other words, it exists to get you back to the way the score was when you opened it. So when you first create the score, there is nothing to get back to. Only after saving, closing, and reopening is there a chance to make the backup.

So basically a backup gets created on the 1st save in the 2nd (and any subsequent) opening of a score.

All right! I learned your teaching, once again I am immensely grateful. I just have to thank and congratulate the team for their professionalism, competence, didactics and quick service!
