Extra rest?
I am not sure what I am doing wrong. I have an extra rest. I am in voice 1, I selected 4/4 time, it is not replacing the rests like it should. I even tried making a new score. Help please!

A small - or + sign appears above the measure when its duration is different than indicated by the time signature

Make sure you are using Step Time note input mode.
