Midi Input in MuseScore 4 Nightly and Playback
Hello,
I was trying out the new MuseScore 4 (which looks great, by the way!). As my Midi Input does not work any more for MuseScore 3.6 (different topic), I am using MuseScore 4 now.
I was happy when I discovered today that the playback improved since the last nightly I used, the volume is ok, and the note is played back when I click on it.
What does not work yet is: I can not hear what I play. When I am "writing" notes with my Midi Keyboards, the notes are written, but I don't hear anything. If I add the notes with my mouse, it works, I can hear it.
Furthermore, I should here what I play anyway, even if I am not in note input mode, correct?
Is this a known issue? Is this a configuration I can change somewhere?
Another issue when I am in real time input mode: The cursor does not advance automatically. I am overriding the same note each time I press a key.
P.S.: I am using the Linux version.

MS4 is not in alpha stage yet, bug report should happen on the github pages for it for the time being.

The new playback code is what is being added right now (over the past few days and presumably new few as well). So it's to be expected it will go through stages of not working at all.
