Can I add a suggested metronome caption at the top of a score? How?
We're all familiar with the suggested speed of piano pieces, where there is a tiny note (any value) and then a suggested number of beats per minute: Quarter note = 55 would work but it would be more appropriate to print out an actual note before the "=" sign. Is this possible in MuseScore? Thank you!

Yes - you can enter a crotchet in the tempo text by bringing up the special characters palette (press the keyboard icon at the left of the text entry tools)

Thank you, that works nicely. It might be a nice feature to allow the user a window that would allow this to be set dynamically. Something to consider. Thanks again! JHJ

?? 2.0 should work on Mac Book Pro, if it does not due to too old CPU, a 3.0 won't run there either.
